Hazel Bhoorasingh

For more than four decades, Hazel Bhoorasingh has brought energy, resourcefulness, and unmistakable warmth to the financial services profession.

Originally from Jamaica, Hazel came to the United States in 1978 and began her career on Wall Street shortly after. Over nineteen years in brokerage operations, she supported sales and service teams connected with the American Stock Exchange, the New York Stock Exchange, and the Commodity Exchange. She rose to supervise more than forty employees and was ultimately promoted to Assistant Vice President of the clearing firm where she worked.

Hazel moved to Orlando in 1995 and continued her career with several Central Florida brokerage firms. Today, as a member of the Branch Administration team at Tyson Smith Private Wealth Partners, she is often the first voice clients hear and the first face they see. Her training includes certification in brokerage operations and the Series 11 Assistant Representative registration.

She believes competence and kindness should always go together. Known for her lively spirit, quick humor, and generous nature, she has a rare gift for making people feel genuinely welcome.

Away from the office, Hazel enjoys personal fitness, gardening, and collecting classic cars. Each reflects a different side of her character: energy, patience, individuality, and an enduring appreciation for things of lasting quality.
